As a 25-year-old Mexican American woman artist, I am drawn to creating idiosyncratic creatures and exploring mythical concepts. I find that these subjects allow me to tap into a realm of imagination and playfulness that is both fascinating and fulfilling. My work often features bizarre creatures that are imbued with a sense of otherworldliness and mystery. I find inspiration through my heritage by exploring Aztec and Mayan culture, which I incorporate into my sculpture and painting pieces. My art is a reflection of my identity and a celebration of who I am.
